“Climate change has always happened. It always will. Maybe the smarter thing to do is to adapt to it than think arrogantly that you can stop it. When it’s a bit warm, let’s enjoy it.”

Asked about climate change and the recent extreme heat at a Reform UK press conference, Richard Tice said climate change was real but questioned whether net zero could stop it. He argued that adapting to climate change was smarter than thinking it could be stopped, before saying people should enjoy warmer weather and citing improving English wine and sparkling wine as a potential benefit.
