Reform says charity staff helping asylum seekers could face up to two years in prison.

Reform UK confirmed that its proposed “Polanski Law” would criminalise acts that assist or encourage illegal entry to the UK, punishable by up to two years in prison. Responding to reporting about Care4Calais, Zia Yusuf accused the registered refugee charity of facilitating illegal migration and said Reform would treat those who enable illegal entry as accomplices and “shut them down immediately”.
