Speaking about women working in the City, Nigel Farage argued that women who took time out to have children could become less valuable to employers because their client relationships might not remain with them. He said he did not believe there was discrimination against women in major City financial institutions and argued that women who sacrificed family life for their careers could do as well as, or better than, men.
